ARCHIPENKO, third in Saturday’s $US5 million Dubai Duty Free, will be running in the QEII Cup in Hong Kong on 27 April.
”He’s a good horse with the ability to win a Group 1 race anywere in the world,” said Mike de Kock after this top race in which “Archie” was whiskered out of second after he was temporarily balked for a clear run.
“I believe Hong Kong wlll suit him well,” said jockey Kevin Shea, who will return to Dubai for Archipenko’s preparation.
Archipenko is Hong Kong-bound. (Andrew Watkins).
