GOLD Circle wishes to advise that there have been a number of fixture changes and feature race stake increases in both KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape for the remainder of 2006.

April 09, Sunday – KwaZulu-Natal – The Byerley Turk has been renamed the Sunday Tribune Byerley Turk. The stake for both the Sunday Tribune Byerley Turk and The Umzimkhulu stakes has been increased to R125 000.
April 22, Saturday – KwaZulu-Natal – The Clairwood Racemeeting scheduled for April 23 has been moved to Scottsville on this date. The Godolphin Barb has been renamed the Godolphin Barb Stakes. The stake for both the Godolphin Barb Stakes and the Strelitzia Stakes has been increased to R 125 000.
May 07, Sunday – Western Cape – The Kenilworth Racemeeting scheduled for May 06 has been moved to this date.
May 13, Saturday – Western Cape – The stake for the Olympic Duel Stakes has been increased to R90 000.
June 03, Saturday – KwaZulu-Natal – The stake for the Umkhomazi Stakes and The Debutante has been increased to R150 000.
June 04, Sunday – Western Cape – The stake for the Winter Oaks has been increased to R90 000.
June 10, Saturday – KwaZulu-Natal – The stake for the Tibouchina Stakes has been increased to R200 000.
June 24, Saturday – Western Cape – The stake for the Ladies Mile has been increased to R90 000.
July 01, Saturday – KwaZulu-Natal – The stake for the Golden Slipper has been increased to R350 000 and the stake for the Gold Vase has been increased to R200 000. The Sugarmill 2200 has been renamed The 2200.
July 22, Saturday – Western Cape – The stake for the Western Cape Breeders Stakes has been increased to R90 000.
July 29, Saturday – KwaZulu-Natal – The stake for the Gold Circle Derby has been increased to R200 000 and the Gold Circle Oaks has been increased to R175 000.
November 05, Sunday – KwaZulu-Natal – The KZN Betting World Guineas Trial for a stake of R125 000 has been added to this date.
December 02, Saturday – Western Cape – The stake for the Victress Stakes has been increased to R90 000.
