Ownership as it should be

CHARLES Savage (middle), with family and friends, visited Randjesfontein on Sunday morning to look at their horses in training, most notably Wild and Grey, a Savage home-bred and newcomer to the stable making good progress with Diane de Kock.

Savage has had horses like “Red Savage” named after him, this one apparently too.

Through multiple visits Charles’ kids and those of his friends have learnt to love and enjoy horses and they’re keen on racing – the kind of thing many more racing fans should be doing to foster interest among the next generation of racegoers.

So, phone a trainer, get involved!
